Abrn has appointed Sarah Deaves to lead financial planning for its personal wealth management business.
In addition to leading the financial planning unit, Deaves will work alongside Paul Titterton to assess how digital can improve the company’s financial planning proposition.
Titterton recently assumed responsibility as Head of Digital Solutions within the company.
In the new role, Deaves will report to Caroline Connellan, CEO of Abrn Personal Wealth.
Commenting on the appointment, Connellan said: “I am delighted to welcome Sarah to Abrdn, Personal Wealth.
“As a customer champion with an excellent track record of leading customer-facing teams and innovating the customer experience, she is a great addition to our team.”
Deaves most recently served as Managing Director, Client Relations and Wealth Management Advisory at Schroders Personal Wealth.
Previously, she served as UK Wealth Management Director at Lloyds Banking Group and as CEO of Coutts.
“At such a key time for Abrdn, I am delighted to be working with Caroline and the broader Personal Wealth leadership team to help meet our clients’ needs and grow our business,” said Deaves.
The past year has been busy for Abrn, with the company making several acquisitions. The most recent of these is its interactive investor takeover for £1.49 billion.
It also acquired AI-based wealth management platform Exo Investing as well as investment insights platform Finimize in 2020.
